Our Story – A Family Tradition Since 1968

Larson's Garbage Service began in 1968 when Fred “Slim” Larson saw a growing need for reliable residential trash removal in rural Clarion County. With just a pickup truck and 19 customers, Slim built the business on hard work, honesty, and a commitment to his community.

In the 1980s, Slim’s son Robert took the reins, expanding the company while staying true to the family values it was founded on. Robert ran the business until his retirement in 2018, when he passed it on to the next generation—his son Brad.

Having grown up working alongside his father, Brad shared the same dedication to serving Clarion County. In 2021, Brad’s brother Greg joined the team, reinforcing the strong family foundation the business is built on.

Today, Larson's Garbage Service continues to provide the same honest, reliable service that started with just 19 customers over 50 years ago. As a family-run operation, we take pride in offering fair, local service to our neighbors—because serving this community is in our blood.
